South Floridians are hotly anticipating a cold front that could bring temperatures into the 60s for the first time in months.
The cold front is expected to come into the area Saturday morning with lows possibly dipping into the upper 60s. The coolest temps are expected Sunday morning, with a low of 66 in some areas.
You have to go back five months, to May 8-9, for the last time lows were in the 60s in Miami-Dade and Fort Lauderdale. It seemed particularly hot this summer, with only two days in July where high temps were below 90 degrees.
Lows will be back in the 70s early next week but Thursday's rain could be the last in the forecast for several days.
