South Florida Restaurants Impacted by Landry's Data Breach

Several South Florida restaurants have been impacted as part of a massive data breach at Landry's-owned restaurants and Golden Nugget casinos nationwide.

Landry's released a list of businesses that were affected during one or both of the following periods: May 4, 2014 through March 15, 2015 and from May 5, 2015 through Dec. 3, 2015.

An investigation found that hackers managed to install a program on payment card processing devices at restaurants, spas, food and beverage outlets, entertainment destinations, and managed properties.

The breach began in December after several customers reported suspicious activity on their cards.

The company advises anyone who used a card at an affected location during the at-risk window should review payment card statements for any unauthorized activity and report unauthorized charges immediately to your card issuer.

Landry’s and Golden Nugget asks any customers with further questions to call 877-238-2151 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The following South Florida locations were among those possibly impacted:

  • Bubba Gump Shrimp in Miami from 5/8/2015 to 12/3/2015
  • Chart House (NOW CLOSED) in Coconut Grove on 10/11/2015
