Not sure what to do with your leftover Halloween pumpkins?
The South Florida Wildlife Center, one of the largest non-profit wildlife trauma and rehabilitation centers in the nation, is collecting unwanted fresh or carved pumpkins to treat rehabilitating raccoon patients with a hankering for the seasonal gourds.
The pumpkins can be dropped off at 3200 SW 4th Avenue in Fort Lauderdale, seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. They must be free of non-natural substances such as glue, marker ink or other craft supplies.
