South Florida to Ring in 2015 in Style With New Year's Parties, Fireworks and Big Orange

South Florida welcomed in 2015 in typical high-flying style with big parties, thousands of partiers, and a good time to be had by all.

The City of Miami celebrated the 30th anniversary of the Big Orange New Year's Eve Celebration at Bayfront Park in front of thousands of people cheering the rise of the Big Orange. The Big Orange went up the side of Hotel InterContinental in front of a crowd organizers said earlier in the night would push 200,000.

In Miami Beach, rapper Pitbull, Mr. 305, performed at a New Year's Revolution party at the Thompson Miami Beach. The party also featured performances Enrique Iglesias and Fall Out Boy, kicks off at 8 p.m. Miami Beach also hosted a party with fireworks and live music on Ocean Drive at 8th Street.

Fort Lauderdale rocked with the Orange Bowl Downtown Countdown party that started while the sun was still up. The countdown featured music, food, and drinks and a lighted ball drop at midnight. Two two gigantic LED screens were also set up to watch the Orange Bowl between the Mississippi Bulldogs and the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.

It was a fun time for everyone as 2015 began.
