South Florida's ‘Romeo Rapist' Busted for Attacks on Two Women

Man attacked women during dates, more victims could be out there: Police

A Tamarac man police are calling the "Romeo Rapist" is behind bars Friday and facing kidnapping and sexual battery charges in two separate attacks.

Andre Miguel Beadle, 35, was arrested Wednesday in the rapes of two women over the summer, according to the Broward Sheriff's Office.

According to the BSO, the women, ages 29 and 33, were raped in attacks on June 27 and July 24.

In the first incident, Beadle met the woman while working as a security guard at a Fort Lauderdale Publix. When Beadle picked her up for a dinner date, he told her he had to swing by his apartment to change clothes, police said.

While in the apartment, he sexually battered her, then drove her home, police said.

Less than a month later, Beadle invited the other woman and her 3-year-old daughter to his apartment for dinner, according to the BSO.

Beadle told the woman they had to eat in his bedroom because there was no other furniture in the apartment, then attacked her in front of her daughter.

Police said Beadle put the woman in a headlock and told her he could snap her neck and that he had killed before and would do it again.

He then put a blanket over himself and the woman and raped her, police said.

Beadle was arrested and was being held on $300,000 bond. It was unknown whether he has an attorney.

The BSO believes there may be other victims of Beadle and are encouraging anyone who was attacked to contact their special victims unit at 954-321-4240.
