A suspect was apprehended after a shooting in South Miami that sent a young woman to Kendall Regional Medical Center Monday, police said.
The victim was expected to recover, South Miami Police said, but they could not immediately provide her condition.
The shooting occurred at 5942 Southwest 62nd St. A perimeter was set up around 6400 Southwest 57th Ave. afterward, Miami-Dade Fire Rescue said.
No other details on the incident were immediately available.
