Police say 19-year-old Katlin Brianna Moore of Quinton, Ala., and several friends were taking luggage from their vehicle on the 12th floor of a parking garage on Monday night.

According to an incident report, Moore tossed a red bag belonging to 21-year-old Ancelmo Avilez Diaz onto the ground. When the bag hit the concrete, a two-shot 9 mm Cobra pistol that was inside fired.

The News Herald of Panama City reports the bullet when through Moore's left leg and grazed her right leg. Her friends tended to her until medics arrived.
