A stray puppy got a help from some human friends after getting trapped in a tight spot Wednesday morning.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded to the area of Northwest 11th Street and 4th Avenue in Homestead after receiving a call of a puppy that found his way under a storage container but couldn't get out.
Rescue crews used shovels and other tools to dig out the area around the container. They were able to safely pull the little guy from his cramped position.
The puppy was taken to a local animal shelter where he will be put up for adoption.
