Quiet start to the day will lead to afternoon thunderstorms pushing inland.

There will be a moderate risk of rip currents along Atlantic beaches today. Isolated morning showers will give way to thunderstorms later today.

An east-southeast wind will help push most of those thunderstorms inland and toward the west coast later this afternoon. The high will be around 91.

For the start of the work week, we will expect a typical summer-like weather pattern all week long with morning passing showers and afternoon thunderstorms.
