Blue skies this morning will give way to a few thunderstorms later this afternoon. (Published Sunday, Jul 27, 2014)

Drier air has moved in leaving us with a sunny morning. We can expect thunderstorms this afternoon mainly inland and along some east coast areas. Highs will be in the lower 90s. We should have a low risk of rip currents.

It will be a hazy start to the week while temperatures continue to warm into the mid 90s by mid-week. An approaching cold front will leave better rain chances for the second half of the week. Highs will remain in the 90s.
