There will be plenty of sunshine to start the day, with low temps in the upper 70s.
A quick warm-up will occur, with highs in the lower 90s. A 30-40 percent chance of afternoon storms will be in the forecast for Sunday, and some could be strong. Plan on them to be slow-movers, possibly producing a lot of rain in a short amount of time for isolated locations.
This weather pattern will remain for the next several days, then fewer storms expected later in the week.
