Two masked bandits hit a Stop N’ Go in North Lauderdale last week finishing their heist in less than two minutes. Now, the Broward Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to find them thanks to surveillance video capturing the entire robbery.

Muhammed Meer was on duty when the robbery went down. He’s seen the surveillance video and laughs at it now. But during the robbery, Meer said he didn’t know what to think of everything that was happening.

“You don’t know if they have a gun. You don’t know what they have, but they’re coming with a knife,” Meer said.

The robbery happened on July 20th just after 11:30 p.m. One of the masked men jumped the counter and demanded Meer hand over all the cash. A customer walked in at that time and was manhandled by the robbers.

The criminals locked the customer and Meer in a bathroom while they made off with a tool box full of change, a few dollars, and Meer’s cell phone.

If you have any information about the crime, call Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS (8477).
