Suspect Attempts Two Robberies Within an Hour: Miami PD

Miami Police are looking for a suspect who attempted to rob two locations within an hour of each other.

On Monday, the suspect entered a 7-11 convenience store at 100 Biscayne Boulevard at 2 p.m. He handed a note to the cashier which read "give me the money or die." Police say the victim went to get her manager, at which point the suspect put the note away and tried to pay for his items. His card was declined, and he took off before police could arrive.

When Miami Police looked at the video of the attempted robbery, the recognized the man as the same person responsible for an attempted bank robbery at the Chase Bank at 2001 Biscayne Boulevard an hour earlier.

Miami Police describe the suspect as a black man who stands 5'6" and is between 30 and 35 years old. He has short dreadlocks work in a ponytail, a mustache and a goatee. The suspect was last seen wearing a black shirt, black shorts, black sneakers and sunglasses.
