Suspect, Woman Dead After Shooting Involving Palm Beach Deputy: Officials

A man shot and killed a woman and injured a Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office deputy in suburban West Palm Beach Monday night, WPTV reported.
The shooting happened at about 7 p.m. in the Casa del Monte trailer park, at the corner of Jog Road and Forest Hill Boulevard. The suspect killed the woman and then shot the deputy and a K-9 dog before a deputy shot him dead, according to WPTV.
The injured deputy, who is expected to survive, was taken to Wellington Regional Medical Center, while the K-9 is in surgery at Pet Emergency & Referral Service, the station reported.
Traffic was closed on Jog Road between Forest Hill and Summit boulevards, according to the sheriff’s office.
