A man who was in a Miami-Dade courtroom Tuesday morning for a hearing took off running after a judge ordered that he be arrested.
The suspect, 21-year-old Yakevis Jones, was in a courtroom on the second floor for a violation of probation hearing when he was ordered arrested on charges of cannabis sale and delivery, strong arm robbery and other charges.
Jones, who wasn't in custody and wasn't in handcuffs, took off running towards the State Attorney's Office and made it into the parking lot of the courthouse where he was taken into custody by several officers.
It's unknown what additional charges Jones may face.
