A man who stole a ring worth tens of thousands of dollars from a Sawgrass Mills mall store was arrested after he posted photos of the ring on Facebook, police said.

Maurice Blake, 30, was arrested Tuesday after an anonymous tipper said he was behind the theft earlier this month at CR Jewelers, police said.

The suspect, identified by police as Blake, asked to see the ring then took off with it. According to police, Blake had two photographs of the 2.95 carat ring on his public Facebook page, one showing a price tag of $69,999.

A store employee later identified Blake in a photographic lineup, police said.

Blake was being held without bond Wednesday and it was unknown whether he has an attorney.
