Authorities investigated a suspicious bag at Miami International Airport Wednesday morning after a bomb-sniffing dog smelled something in a passenger's carry-on bag.
The incident happened at Concourse G after the passenger arrived on a Bahamas Air flight. The bomb squad was called in and as a precaution the concourse was evacuated.
A TSA spokesperson said the bag was finally cleared around 11 a.m. and said it contained no threat or explosives.
"This was an excellent hit by a TSA K-9 doing exactly what he was trained to do in keeping the traveling public safe," said TSA spokesperson Sari Koshetz.
