Miami Fire Rescue teams responded to reports of a suspicious package at the U.S. courthouse building at 400 North Miami Avenue Tuesday morning.
Aerial views showed hazmat teams and Miami Police responding to the scene with robots.
Police said a man entered a hallway of the courthouse with a bookbag and laid a package with a note complaining about the government.
Federal authorities took the man into custody. His name has not been released.
Police used a robot to examine the package and then took an x-ray, which was cleared.
Authorities gave the all clear around 1:30 p.m.
