The Spanish-language television host accused of burglarizing his neighbor’s home in Doral pleaded not guilty Friday, court officials said.

Frank Cairo, 48, is charged with grand theft after allegedly stealing patio furniture the vacation home of a neighbor, authorities said.

Cairo, whose real name is Ivan Valdes, Cairo has been working for TV Azteca since 2011, according to this website. He previously worked for Telemundo, Univision and Mega TV.

The April 29 break in was caught on surveillance cameras and neighbors were able to identify Cairo and a friend, Jorge Acuna Arias, 47, as the perpetrators, officials said.

When Cairo bonded out of jail, he told reporters he makes upwards of a half-million dollars a year, and has no need to steal "Kmart furniture."

"The fact of the matter is, these homeowners were very afraid, " said Chief Rick Gomez. "How would you feel, as a homeowner, and you're looking at video, and somebody's trying to break in your house?"

Cairo’s attorney, Avelino Gonzalez, could not be reached for comment Saturday.
