Teen on Bike Killed in Pembroke Pines

A teenage boy on a bicycle died from his injuries after a crash Monday night in Pembroke Pines, police said.

The crash happened at around 8 p.m. in the 1900 block of NW 196th Avenue, according to the Pembroke Pines Police Department.

Police said a good Samaritan saw the 14-year-old lying on the road and stopped to render aid and called 911.

The teen was taken to the hospital and later died from his injuries, police said. His identity has not been released.

There was no description of a vehicle or a driver at this time.
