A 15-year-old girl was rushed to a Miami hospital Wednesday after she was reportedly stabbed by another student after she got off a school bus.

The incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. after the unidentified 15-year-old Southwood Middle School School student was dropped off in the area of Southwest 100th Court and West Evergreen St.

According to police, the girl had been in an argument with another bus rider who stabbed her four times in the back. The attacker fled the scene and police have not been able to identify the suspect.

The victim was airlifted to Miami Children's Hospital and was released Thursday.

Southwood Middle School was the scene of another stabbing incident in 2004, when student Jaime Gough was stabbed to death by his "friend," Michael Hernandez, in a bathroom stall.
