A teenager was killed and another person was injured after a shooting in Miramar Tuesday, authorities said.
The Miramar Fire Department said the teenager was transported to a local hospital as a trauma alert after the shooting in the 7900 block of Ramona Street.
Miramar Police confirmed the 18-year-old, Eddyson Isidor, later died.
A second victim was also hospitalized after the shooting but had injuries that do not appear to be life-threatening, police said.
One person was detained after the shooting but police said no arrests have been made and it may be a case of self-defense.
The shooter is cooperative and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
