Police are investigating after a group of teens intentionally pushed a car into a Miami-Dade canal Sunday night.
The incident happened in the area of 152nd Street and Memorial Highway, officials said.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Chief Jose Herrera said witnesses saw the teens push the car into the water.
Rescue workers responded and divers were sent in to make sure no one was in the car when it was pushed in.
"We didn't find anyone inside the vehicle or inside the water," Herrera said.
Police are investigating why the teens pushed the car into the water.
