Former Telemundo Actress Charged After Striking Bouncer With Champagne Glass: Police

Ahrid Hannaley allegedly struck the bouncer after she was denied entrance to the VIP area of a South Beach nightclub.

A former Telemundo soap actress was arrested after she struck a bouncer on the head with a champagne glass, police said.

Ahrid Hannaley was charged with aggravated battery following the early Wednesday morning incident, according to Miami Beach Police.

Hannaley appeared in soap operas like "Marido en Alquiler" and co-hosted celebrity gossip program "Suelta La Sopa."

Authorities said Hannaley was trying to enter a VIP area of Wall Lounge in South Beach, but wasn't on the guest list. The bouncer told Hannaley she wasn't allowed in the area, but she tried to walk past him anyway.

When the bouncer blocked her path, Hannaley allegedly said, "You don't know who I am" and tried to shoulder her way past the victim, the police report said.

Hannaley bumped against the bouncer, so he put his hands on her shoulders and told her again that she couldn't enter that part of the club, police said.

That's when Hannaley struck the bouncer on the head with the champagne glass, causing a 1 1/2-inch gash on the bouncer's forehead, the police report said.

Security at the club had to separate the two. The bouncer was treated by Miami Beach Fire Rescue and told the injury would require stitches, police said. Hannaley had no visible injuries.

It is unclear if Hannaley has an attorney. Telemundo is owned by NBC 6 parent company NBC Universal.
