University of Miami students have yet another reason to toast.

The University of Miami is bringing back the Ibis Ride on Thursday with a one-strike-and-you're-out policy, according to the Miami Hurricane, the campus paper.

Or is that one tequila shot and you're off?

You might remember that the shuttle bus, which was designed to transport students to wholesome good time in Coconut Grove, was shut down after allegations that the service had become a bus for drunks. And those tipsy students were a bit belligerent, to put it mildly.

Fighting, spitting, mooning and swearing - you know, the usual - caused administration to pull the plug on the boozed bus in the spring.

But just like the Hurricanes football team, the Ibis is back. We wonder if students will drink to that.

Now, if you have an inftaction on the bus, you will have to meet the Assistant Dean of Students Nanette Vega. If Vega finds a student guilty, they face fines or the dreaded note home to mommy. That should really stop all that drinking and riding.
