Thieves Steal 2 Handguns in Weston Car Burglaries: BSO

    One of two suspects in 11 car burglaries in Weston that ended with 2 guns stolen.

    Authorities are looking for a pair of thieves who stole two handguns after they broke into 11 cars in Weston.

    The burglaries happened the night of April 7 and into the early morning of April 8 in the 400 block of Ranch Road and 300 block of Fairway Circle, the Broward Sheriff's Office said.

    BSO officials said the two men were able to get into 10 unlocked cars in the Villas of Bonaventure community, finding one handgun in a glove compartment and another in a center console in an 11th car down the road.

    Surveillance video from a nearby home captured one of the suspects, identified as a Hispanic male with a thin athletic build who was wearing a baseball cap, tank top, jeans and sneakers.
