Thieves Stuff Liquor Under Clothes at Coconut Grove Store: Cops

The incident happened on Aug. 22 at Grove Liquor.

Police are looking for two people who robbed a Coconut Grove liquor store by stuffing bottles of liquor under their clothes.

Investigators said a man and a woman entered Grove Liquor at 2991 SW 32 Ave. on Aug. 22 just before 11 p.m.

The suspects walked down the aisles looking at different bottles and asking employees several questions, police said. Employees later

saw the man put two bottles of Grey Goose vodka in his pants and saw the woman sliding a bottle of Patron tequila under her dress,

according to police.

The suspects fled and left the store in a dark blue Oldsmobile 88 with Florida license tag BFM5108.

Police said the man is between 35 and 40 years old, about 150 pounds and about 5'9" - 5'10". He was last seen wearing a brown shirt and cargo pants. The woman is between 30-35 years old, about 220 pounds, and about 5'8". She was last seen wearing a long black dress.
