Third Teen In Custody For Social Media Threat After Gun Scare at Coral Springs High School

Police arrested an 18-year-old student early Tuesday after a post on social media threatened a "round 2" at Coral Springs High School.

Sebastian Hawk Darrah was taken into custody at 1:30 a.m., police said.

Darrah made the threatening post on Instagram because he was angry over the arrest of his friend a day before, police said.

Officials said a 17-year-old was caught Monday carrying a loaded gun on campus. Another student was also taken into custody after police found a 10-page journal depicting violence and talking about shooting up the school.

Detectives were alerted Monday by a parent of a student about a post on Instagram threatening violence at the high school.

The Instagram account with the user name "supersalivation" posted a screen shot of a text message conversation with the caption: "Watch out for round 2 tomorrow springs. We comin guns blazin you locked our n***** up".

Officers were able to link the Instagram page to Darrah.

The teen was arrested at his parents' home. Police said Darrah admitted to making the threatening post but added he had no plans to shooting anyone at school and that it was meant to be a joke.

The 18-year-old was charged with making a false report concerning the use of firearms in a violent manner, which is a felony. Darrah could face at least 1 year in prison.
