An investigation is underway after a 53-foot tractor trailer fell off a South Florida interstate, leaving the driver dead.
The incident happened Saturday morning on the southbound lane of the State Road 91 ramp to I-595.
Officials said Roliandis Oliveros, 29, was driving on the exit ramp to I-595, when the driver crashed with the concrete barrier wall. The trailer and truck fell off the ramp, causing it to land in a grassy area about 80-90 feet below on its roof.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
