As officials continue their investigation into what caused the pedestrian bridge to collapse near FIU, roads will continue to be closed.
Southwest 8th Street from 107th to 117th Avenue remains closed into next week. The 8th street exits on the Turnpike will also remain closed.
If traveling on the Turnpike, you can seek the Northwest 12th Street or Southwest 40th Street exits as alternates.
If traveling on local streets, you can seek Flagler or Coral Way as alternates.
