A man was killed in an early morning traffic fatality in Miami-Dade.
The crash was reported just after 6:30 a.m. Friday on the Florida Turnpike southbound ramp to Exit 1/US 1 in Florida City.
Aerial footage showed what appeared to be a body covered by a yellow tarp lying in the road on US 1. Multiple patrol cars are also at the scene.
The car involved stayed at the scene. The victim's identity wasn't released.
The Turnpike south ramp to Exit 1/US 1 was completely shut down for much of Friday morning. It has since been reopened.
