Tropical Depression 2 Degenerates to Tropical Wave

    Tropical Depression 2 became a tropical wave Wednesday as it moved toward the Lesser Antilles.

    The system was located about 365 miles east of the Lesser Antilles Wednesday morning. The National Hurricane Center said winds with the system were 25 miles per hour and the system was moving west at approximately 25 miles per hour.

    There were no coastal watches or warnings in effect.

    Forecasters expect the system to pick up a little speed over the next couple of days, but the storm is expected to continue to weaken.
