Trump's Doral Golf Resort Ordered to Pay $300,000 in Attorney Fees

A judge has ordered Donald Trump's South Florida golf course to pay nearly $300,000 in attorney's fees to a local paint shop for a lawsuit over unpaid bills.

The Miami Herald reports that Circuit Court Judge Jorge Cueto ruled this week that the Trump National Doral Miami golf resort owes The Paint Spot $282,950.

The paint store had claimed in a lawsuit that the resort failed to make the final payment of $34,863 on a $200,000 contract for paint used in a renovation two years ago. Trump's company, Trump Endeavor, placed $34,000 in escrow account to prevent a foreclosure sale of the resort last month.

Trump, who officially secured the Republican Party's presidential nomination this week, bought the resort in 2012 for $150 million.
