Two Arrested for Attacking Soldier in Tampa

18-year-olds Geroshe Lewis and Lerome Howard were arrested Friday after they allegedly beat up a soldier at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, police said

Two people have been arrested in connection with the attack of a soldier at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa.

Jail records show 18-year-olds Geroshe Lewis and Lerome Howard were charged Friday with aggravated battery and robbery. Police are still searching for two other suspects.

Police say Johnny Aparicio's car broke down last Saturday. As Aparacio walked, a nearby surveillance camera captured the image of a man running up to hand punching him. Two others joined in the attack; a fourth man ran up and kicked Aparicio in the face.

The four suspects took Aparicio's wallet and cell phone. Aparicio staggered to a nearby home to call police. He received facial injuries.

The reward for the arrest of his attackers has grown to more than $16,000.
