Police confirmed that they found a man and woman dead in a Cape Coral hot tub on Saturday, apparent victims of drowning.

Cape Coral police say they were called to the scene by a roommate who found the pair floating face up in the morning.

Robert D. Jones, 78, owned the home where police found his body and that of 26-year-old Jennifer Britt.

Although police say they continue to investigate the case, they said there were no initial signs of foul play.

According to NBC2 in Cape Coral, several neighbors were quoted as saying that they were not surprised by the deaths as the home has been a location of nefarious activity over the past couple of years.
