Two people were injured when their ultralight plane crashed into Tampa Bay.
The crash happened Thursday afternoon.
St. Petersburg Fire Rescue says a passing boater picked up the man and woman and brought them to a nearby marina.
One of the victims was taken to Bayfront Medical Center for treatment, and the other was being evaluated.
The Good Samaritan fisherman who rescued the two people from the wrecked plane was familiar to St. Petersburg Fire Rescue workers. He helped pull a driver from a submerged car Wednesday after he saw it roll over an embankment into the Intracoastal Waterway near a bridge.
