Two People in Custody After Police Respond to Check Cashing Store Robbery

The suspects got away through the roof, but they were caught in the neighborhood.

Two men were in custody after stealing $200 from a check cashing store employee on Monday, Miami-Dade Police said.

Police got a hang up call and responded to the address near SW 150th Street and SW 113th Ave. \

The two men got into the business through the roof, and as the employee entered the store, she was confronted by the armed men who demanded the money. They fled through the roof but  were caught in the neighborhood.

Charges against them are pending. The employee wasn't injured.
