Police are investigating after two men were shot and killed following a fight inside a Homestead sports bar Sunday morning.
The shooting occurred after a fight broke out at the bar at about 9:30 Sunday morning. according to the Miami-Dade Police Department's Homicide Bureau. At one point during the altercation, one person pulled out a firearm and fired several times.
One man who was shot died at the scene, while the other later died at Kendall Regional Trauma Center.
The victims were identified as 26-year-old Jorge Garcia-Ramirez and 31-year-old Santiago Garcia, both of Homestead. It was not immediately clear whether the two were related.
The gunman, who was not identified by police, was detained for questioning and later released. Charges are still pending, authorities said.
