University of Miami Hardest School to Get In in Florida: Report

Students hoping to get into the University of Miami might have a tough road ahead of them!

According to recent data from Niche.com, UM is the toughest school to get into in the state of Florida.

The rankings are based on acceptance rates and SAT/ACT scores. According to the survey, UM has an acceptance rate of 40.4-percent, among the lowest in the state of Florida according to data.

Just behind UM are the University of Florida in Gainesville, Adventist University of Health Sciences in Orlando,  Florida International University, and the University of South Florida, respectively.

Nationally, the five hardest schools to get into are Harvard University, Yale University, Princeton University, Columbia University and California Institute of Technology, respectively.

University of Miami ranked 87th nationally.
