"People come here and it's not just a circus, it's an experience," local coordinator Ed Haynes said of the Universoul traveling circus from Atlanta. Owner Cedric Walker and show co-host Zeke talked about Universoul.
Prepare yourself for a thrill of a lifetime. The big top is taking center stage in Miramar with the Universoul traveling circus out of Atlanta.
The high-adrenaline, captivating and nerve-racking performances are keeping audiences on the edge of their seats.
"People come here and it's not just a circus, it's an experience," said local coordinator Ed Haynes.
An experience brought to life almost 20 years ago by concert and theater promoter Cedric Walker.
Walker is the first African American to own and operate a traveling circus.
"He goes around the world seeking out some of the most unique talent," said Zeke, the show's co-host. "Bringing them back to America, and we just have fun all over the world."

Universoul isn't your traditional circus. Walker's vision was to bring a highly interactive combination of circus arts, theater and music that spans genres including hip hop, Latin and classic R&B.
The Universoul circus is performing through Sunday at Miramar Regional Park. For more information on tickets, go to www.ticketmaster.com or call 1-800-745-3000.
