The NBA offseason can get pretty long, especially in August. But Miami Heat star LeBron James knows the cure for the summertime blues: Instagram videos.
The reigning MVP has used the popular photo-sharing service's new video capabilities to the max this summer, sharing snippets from his trips to China and Nike's headquarters, in addition to his own personal training montages.
On Wednesday, James unveiled his latest production, in which he pays homage to Dr. J himself, Julius Erving.
Not only does James don the short shorts and high socks favored by Erving's generation, he also sports a prodigious Afro wig and shows off some killer dance moves.
"This how I come out when my name called during intros," James explained on Instagram. "Starting at Forward from Akron Ohio, num 6 LeBron James(announcers voice obviously)."
Heat fans still have to wait over two months for NBA season to get started, but James knows how to keep them watching, even when he's off the court.
