Officials responded to a water main break which caused major flooding in Pompano Beach.
BSO officials say the water main break occurred at the intersection of Northeast Third Avenue and 23rd Street. The area is flooded with water and motorists and pedestrians are advised to avoid it.
Water in the area will be temporarily shut down for repairs, leaving approximately 100 homes without water.
