Water Main Construction Leading to Road Closure on Miami Springs Parkway Through Friday

Some drivers in Miami Springs will be looking for a new way to get to and from work for a few days starting Wednesday morning.

City officials say their water and sewer department will begin work on the Curtiss Parkway and continue through Friday on a water pipeline project.

During construction, southbound lanes will be closing down and traffic will be rerouted to Westward Drive or Palmetto Drive and loop back onto the parkway by going down Morningside Drive.

Drivers are advised to follow the city’s social media accounts for updates on the timetable for construction.
