Through the weekend, shower and storm chances will expand each afternoon under mostly cloudy skies.
The best time to be outside will be early in the day.
Storms will roll in after 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon and carry into the evening hours. Skies will be mostly cloudy and highs will reach 91. Temperatures will cool to 79 degrees Saturday night with a lower chance of showers.
Sunday will be fairly wet across South Florida with numerous storms likely after midday. Highs will be at 89.
A similar pattern will follow Monday, but the chance of showers will decrease by July Fourth.
The tropics remain quiet this week with no development expected for the next several days.
