A strong cold front is slated to pass through South Florida Monday afternoon, sending temperatures plunging into the 40s Monday night.
Before that happens, high temperatures will peak in the mid-80s before tumbling through the 60s Monday evening.
A chilly pattern hangs on for Tuesday as highs struggle to reach into the lower 60s. Conditions will be sunny and breezy.
Highs will warm into the mid-70s by mid-week with shower chances returning to the pattern for Thursday and Friday.
