Saturday started off with temperatures in the low 80s and plenty of sunshine.

The day will continue with mostly sunny skies and only a 20 percent chance of showers and storms. Highs will reach 90 by 7 p.m.

Saharan dust will linger over the area, causing the sky to appear a little hazy and keeping thunderstorms out of the forecast.

There is a moderate chance of rip currents on area beaches, with the UV index in the extreme.

Rain chances will go up Sunday and continue rising throughout the work week. There will be a 40 percent chance of showers and storms Sunday, and a 50 percent chance from Monday to Wednesday.
