An urban flood advisory was issued for southeastern Broward County until 3 p.m. on Tuesday.

The day began with spotty showers in South Florida but there will be an increase in rainfall through the late morning and into the afternoon.

There will be a 60 percent chance of showers and storms Tuesday with high temperatures in the upper 80s.  Rain chances will stay high for Wednesday as well.

Rain chances will taper off slightly through the second half of the week due to high pressure building in. By the end of the weekend and beginning of next week, rain chances could be back in a big way.
