Scattered storms remain in place over South Florida as Arthur strengthens to first hurricane of Atlantic season. NBC 6's Adam Berg has your First Alert Forecast.

As Arthur strengthens into the first hurricane of the Atlantic season, scattered showers and storms make their way across South Florida.

Highs will be in the lower 90s throughout the weekend. Rain chances remain at 30 through Friday.

Rip current risk is low at area beaches.

The weekend is expected to improve with a lower chance of rain and partly sunny skies expected.
