Sunday started off with sunny skies and calm conditions.

Some spotty storms are in the forecast for the afternoon, with a 40 percent chance of showers.

Storms will move slowly, which could result in minor flooding in some areas.

Highs will reach about 90 by the coast, with warmer temperatures possible in the interior sections.

There will be a moderate risk of rip currents on the beach Sunday, with a high UV index.

Slightly drier air will work its way into South Florida by tomorrow, lowering rain chances for the next few days. There will be a 30 percent of showers Monday and a 20 percent chance on Tuesday.
