A line of a strong thunderstorms was moving slowly along the line between southern Broward and north Miami-Dade on Sunday afternoon.

Meteorologists said there were no advisories in effect, but there was a 60 percent chance of rain for western and central Miami-Dade and Broward.

And metro areas were looking at a 30 to 50 chance of rain.

Some storms that develop could be strong.

Meanwhile, temperatures will be around 80 degrees.

For Labor Day, the forecast won’t be changing much. South Florida will have a quiet start, with possible storms in the afternoon.
